This product is attractive for smoking enthusiasts as for many reasons. The dual probes allow you to get an accurate reading from different area's of your smoker.

The temperature/taste alarm lets you know if your smoker is getting to hot.

The timer is great for those of us who forget how long things have been smoking and helps to make sure you rotate evenly.

The remote sensor works great as long as your in range; which isn't that far and if you don't have anything that interrupts the signal. I have a problem with signal interruption when my A/C unit turns on.

Overall this is a good product despite the range issue!

The reason for buying this was to be able to check the grill from a distance or inside like the add said. well the range of the unit isnt very far without anything in the way inside forget it.cant clip to belt keeps shuting off.

The ET-7 is a very innovative product. It allows you to monitor the temps of two different foods at the same time and has separate beeps for each when done to your required temp settings. It can also be used simultaneously as a timer. The probes can also be used to monitor the cabinet temperature of the smoker. Cons are limited range, probe length, you cannot get the probes wet, and difficult to clean. It is affordable for what it does and I highly recommend it.

really like the two probes but the range was very short. Only 25 feet thru a wall and it would not pick up the signal. I added a longer antenna to the receiver AND the transmitter. Now works in any room in the house from the garage.
