I will never overcook any meat again. Why did I wait so long to buy one of these. I have used it in my oven, my Bradley smoker and my charcoal smoker. It works perfect.

I use three of these to monitor my smoker and meat temps. They always perform. For the price, they cant be beat.

The wireless thermometer is easy to setup and allows peace of mind during a long slow-and-low cook. It allows you to set an alarm to warn you if your pit temp is getting to high or to low. The wireless aspect of the Maverick allows you to monitor the temperature of you food and your pit temp simultaneously from inside your house. It lets me keep an eye on temps without having to go outside in the snow to check on it. Living outside of Buffalo, the Maverick has come in very handy this winter season. During a low-and-slow overnighter on my Primo, I was alerted that my pit temp. was getting to low. I got out of bed, stoked the fire, and then back to sleep. With the Maverick you have no fear of ruining your food. The device is very easy to setup. Other than my Primo, this has been the best investment I have made for my barbequing.
