Save your wood pucks and $$$$$, these should pay for themselves in a season or 2. Each time you smoke with the Bradley, one or 2 pucks are sacrificed at the end by feeding pucks. It can add up quick in pucks.....these are a great solution.

These are "dummy" bisquettes that serve to push the last few real bisquettes out onto the heating platform. Bubba Pucks cannot fail to save you money on Bradley bisquettes. They work as advertised, except (as others have noted) when you have a tall stack of bisquettes. The weight of the stack plus the Bubba Pucks causes too much friction for bisquettes to feed smoothly. Wait until there are just a few bisquettes left before you add the Bubba Pucks to the stack.

A load of two pucks is adequate but will only serve to move the last bisquette onto the heating platform; using a third puck will make sure the last bisquette will drop into the quench bowl when its time is over. A single Bubba Puck won't do much good, unless you only bought two to start with and later decide that you want the additional convenience of a third. Save yourself the trouble: just buy three to start and get it over with.
