This pump is ready right out of the box! Just add the water hose and plug it in! This is my 2nd Little Giant! I had the other pump for 15 years!It had the auto shut off, and I took it off the old pump and it bolted right to the new pump!It works GREAT!

I just purchased my 3rd Little Giant pump in 25 years. The Energizer Bunny of pumps. They have been left running after water was gone. They have been frozen in ice on top of the pool cover. Helped empty flooded basements for friends. Worked hard to pump when covered with wet leaves. Amazing they just keep surviving and pumping.

Bought identical pump 15 years ago and used it to drain our pool all winter long. During the floods last month used it to empty our flooded basement. It ran non-stop for 5 days and I was worried it would burn out eventually (although it never did), so I bought another one to have a backup, just in case.
